This Shure SLX1 Bodypack does NOT come with a mic or receiver. It requires a Shure SLX4 receiver with the EXACT same frequency band of L4 which is 638-662 Mega Hertz, and a microphone either lapel, earset, or headset style, in order to work properly.

This listing is ONLY for the transmitter bodypack shown in the picture. This bodypack transmitter is for someone who has a Shure SLX System in Frequency Band L4 (638-662 MHz) with either a handheld mic transmitter but wants to have the option of using a bodypack with a lapel/earset/headset mic instead of their handheld mic, OR a bodypack that has stopped working properly and needs to be replaced.

You CANNOT use 2 transmitters (ie a Handheld Mic and a Bodypack w/ an Earset Mic) with only 1 receiver at the same time. Each transmitter you have has to have a corresponding receiver.

To find the frequency band of your Shure SLX system to make sure it's compatible with this bodypack transmitter, look on the back or on the bottom of the SLX4 receiver where the serial number is shown.
