I get ask the question is OSP any good. Well let me start by saying that I have been around pro audio music gear for about 22 years. I owned a small sound company and was a dj for several years in high school and college. After college I recorded and toured full time with the Christian rock band Skillet until 2000. So I've been around some really good audio products and some really big disappointments over the years. I became an OSP dealer because of the HS-09 earset microphone. I was blown away by the quality and performance of it and then when I found out the price was 50% less than the Countryman E6 I knew I had found something really great and couldn't wait to start selling it.

OSP was started in 2006 and has primarily focused on pro audio products such as stage snakes, flight cases, microphones, and electronic drums. Can you find better quality gear than OSP, absolutely yes you can. Will you pay a lot more for that gear? Absolutely as you should. I call OSP the working man's professional audio equipment. It's not the best money can buy, but it is by far not the worst! I assure you, for the money, it is by far the best value available in the United States. OSP is being used by audio professionals all over the country day in and day out.

I personally know the owner and general manager of OSP and they work very hard at keeping the quality and consistency of their products very high. If and when there is an issue with a product, they have been very quick to find a remedy for the problem. OSP is an up and coming brand that you will enjoy owning and can be confident investing your hard-earned dollars into as well.

The OSP HS-09 Earset microphone sounds amazing. It is very small which makes it virtually invisible. The microphone capsule is only 3mm in length and the wire which makes up the microphone is only 1mm. The HS-09 is easy to custom fit to your ear and very comfortable to wear for hours on end. I wear glasses and it was no problem wearing the mic over my left ear since it's so tiny. It comes with two detachable cables wired with a plug for either Shure, Audio Technica, Sennheiser, or AKG wireless systems. It also comes with a very nice padded case that has room for storing a belt-pack transmitter along with the mic.

I had used the Countryman E6i microphone and loved the sound and performance I'd gotten out of it over the years, but I was blown away by how good the OSP HS-09 earset mic sounded when I first heard it several years ago. It had super high gain before any hint of distortion and sounded very rich and full even on the low end frequencies. We were making product demonstration videos of acoustic drum sets at the time and our hosts each had an HS-09 mic. I couldn't believe how well the audio of the drums sounded coming through their mics just standing near the super loud drums.
